It’s time to get ready for summer with some new music from NCT DREAM! MARK, RENJUN, JENO, HAECHAN, JAEMIN, CHENLE, and JISUNG are throwing it back to the 90’s with their 2nd album repackage Beatbox. With a fresh new concept and four new tracks, the soundtrack to your summer is here.

With its old school hip-hop vibe, the title track “Beatbox” is bringing the fun and getting fans to dance while sharing a cheery positive message that will be on repeat for all the good times. The music video, which starts with a blue haired MARK beatboxing, brings all the colorful 90’s aesthetic while showcasing the group’s iconic dance moves as they move from scene to scene.

The b-side tracks “To My First,” “Sorry, Heart,” and “On The Way” tie in the album with a more sentimental, romantic side. Still bringing an upbeat sound, “To My First” is an ode to your first love but saying goodbye as its time to move on. “Sorry, Heart,” sung by RENJUN, HAECHAN, and CHENLE brings the R&B ballad grooves as they sing their apologies for being absent and not being a good lover. “On The Way” keeps up with the R&B melodies to share a promise that they will walk the same path together forever.

The new tracks join the 11 beloved tracks including “Fire Alarm” and “Saturday Drip” which are featured on their Hanteo and Gaon chart topping, million-selling 2nd album Glitch Mode. Both albums follow-up to their May 2021 release Hot Sauce which surpassed 3.42 million sales and topped the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 37 regions around the world. Adding to their momentum, Beatbox arrives right on time to remix your playlists for ultimate fun. Time and time again, NCT DREAM proves they are the group to watch as they keep their high energy and deliver on every choreography they do. 

Break out your CD player and step into the “new school” style, with the Beatbox repackaged albums. The digipak version features illustrations done by each of the members, giving it a unique twist. While the photo book version, throws it back with some 90’s teen heartthrob magazine covers nostalgia that you now need to have in your collection. With other goodies in each version, both come with a coveted randomized photocard.

Released on May 30, Beatbox has already topped the Hanteo and Gaon charts and ranked first on other music charts. The album had 1.4 million pre-ordered copies before its release adding to the group’s feats. So put on your dancing shoes and jump in on the NCT DREAM train.
